‘Wheel of Fortune LIVE!’ coming to Foxwoods Resort Casino this fall

Connecticut residents who have dreamed of spinning the "Wheel of Fortune" wheel, can make that a reality at Foxwoods Resort Casino this fall. "Wheel of Fortune LIVE!" comes to the casino on Nov 10 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.

"Wheel of Fortune LIVE!" is inspired by the original "Wheel of Fortune’' television game show on which contestants spin a wheel to win prizes. The television show went on the air in 1975 and still airs new episodes on ABC. In 2021, a new version of the show with celebrity contestants, "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune" began airing.

"The live stage show is the only way you can have the chance to spin a full-sized replica of the iconic Wheel," Foxwoods’ website states.

During the live show, contestants get to spin the wheel, solve puzzles and win prizes. The prizes include trips to Paris and Hawaii or $10,000 in cash. The hosts of the event haven't been announced yet, but they won't be the show's television hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White, according to "Wheel of Fortune LIVE!"

To join the show, guests can sign up online for the chance to be selected to participate in the game. Guests must be 18 years or older to play, however, individuals of all ages can be part of the live audience.

Tickets range from $49 to $109.50 and are tiered; for example, "Front Row Experience" tickets offer a seat in the first row and "Spin the Wheel Experience" ticket holders are seated in the first ten rows, along with other perks.
